剧情

   《你怎知道》讲述了一个白领男人和一个棒球运动员同时爱上一个女人的故事。

      丽莎·约根森（瑞茜·威瑟斯彭饰）是一位昔日的女运动员，她曾经在自己的领域首屈一指，而如今却陷入了一场三角恋爱的苦恼中。本来她与现在的棒球运动员曼尼（欧文·威尔逊饰）情投意合，又同样是运动领域的情侣，有很多共同话题。但是，突然，一位事业上正深陷苦恼的白领高管乔治（保罗·路德饰），对丽莎却心生爱意。于是，两个男人为了争夺丽莎的芳心，开始了一场激烈的争夺。在这场"战争"中，他们施展各自功夫，上演了一幕幕浪漫与啼笑皆非的场面，在这两个男人间，丽莎又该如何抉择？你怎知道呢？她又真正清楚吗？

      ·《你怎知道》长期以来处于一种犹抱琵琶半遮面的状态，尽管导演詹姆斯·L·布鲁克斯透露了影片大致剧情，但是对其详情一直不愿多谈。而本片片名也长期未定，以《詹姆斯·L·布鲁克斯未命名电影》的身份被媒体报导，最终的片名本身对于媒体的猜测也充满了喜剧味道，这部影片究竟讲啥？"你怎知道？"。

      · 詹姆斯·L·布鲁克斯拍片不多，却是奥斯卡常客，同时他也是杰克·尼科尔森的幸运合作伙伴。1984年，凭借《母女情深》，尼科尔森摘得奥斯卡最佳男配角奖，而1998年，又凭借《尽善尽美》获得奥斯卡最佳男主角奖。要知道，尼克尔森至今获得奥斯卡奖的次数为三次，跟布鲁克斯合作的就占了两次，也难怪他时隔三年后乐意再度出山，要为老友的影片助力。

   ·比尔·默瑞一度是片中保罗·路德的父亲一角的首选，不过最终，杰克·尼科尔森获得了这个角色。
